I am thinking about some new wedges in the near future, probably some Maltby components. For shafts I've tried FST Hi-Revs in the past and NS Pro 950's and liked both. Looking at Golfworks there are a few new options:
AXE Xcaliber (http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_AS0014_A_cn_E_10106) wedge shafts and Nippon NS Pro WV (http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_NP0006_A_cn_E_10106) wedge shafts. Anyone tried them and have an opinion? Technique aside, would any of these be a good choice for a chopper(me) trying to get as much spin off the wedges as possible?
Thanks!

The Nippon NS Pro WV all have Mid or Mid/High bend point so they most likely won't help with more spin, the AXE Xcaliber have a low/mid bend point which should produce a high launch with more spin, as far as normal shafts go I doubt much would spin much more than the NS Pro 850/950's.

TT DG spinners are my choice at present...

Great shaft and stupid amounts of spin from short range. of a nice lie I can stun the ball from about 6-7m on a hard green.

And that is with a 2 year old 60 degree wedge.

Where would I get a pair of 1" overlength TT DG spinner shafts from?

Nippon WV's are great shafts. Great control and can't imagine getting any better spin from any other shafts.

Are you using them with non-conforming grooves?

I stock the KBS', FST's, Dyn Gold Spinners and the Nippons.
My favourite is the FST, very smooth feel.
I have them in my demo system so you can try them and we can sort out the best option.

I don't use them...too spinny for my taste.

Hey GD. Welcome aboard.

The guys can PM you if they're keen to try these out. I've removed your website from your post. Cheers.

I've ordered a couple of the AXE Xcaliber wedge shafts so I'll report back on how they go.
