Anyone able to compare Rifle Flighted 6.0 to KBS Tour Stiff ?

I guess it depends how they are thrown.

Are you suggesting I should have posted this on a knowledgeable golf forum perhaps ?

Maybe, but when I login I see Ozgolf, not Ozspearchuckers.

They would both fly further in high altitude.

for me the kbs give a lower overall ballflight. I probably hit the flighted long irons the same height but i hit the short irons higher. I am a chopper though.

I find the KBS have a lower ball flight that the Project X and DG S300 but have not tried the Rifl Flighted

How's that for a straight answer?

That seems backwards to me. Where you testing them in the same heads?

kbs will have softer tip section than rifles. Which should mean higher ball flight.

but as others have found this to be false. I have tried rifle flighted and they were lower than S300's, never used KBS

weight wise the rifles are a tad heavier than kbs tour

Thanks dave1, despite what everyone else says, I reckon you're ok.

No ... All forged heads but different models, so my finding is flawed :(

Haven't used the flighted shafts but have currently px 6.5's and Kbs x's. The Kbs is considerably softer in feel, probably due to wot d1 said in the softer tip. The px is my cup o tea, broomstick stiff. From that I have found though, the Kbs does generate a lower ball flight, but I didn't notice any reduced spin levels on the green.
