Thinking of replacing my trusty 07 Burner TP as my pro shop account must be cleared by Wed.

Anyone playing either of these 3 woods?

How are they off the tee/deck?

What did it kick out of your bag?

Is it a keeper?

What shaft do you have and how does it launch?

Other recommendations accepted.

You've tried every brand. I think I should buy you a short game lesson. Have you seen phil's DVD?

Just to clarify, this is aimed at Yoss.

Yoss maybe you should bypass trying new wedges and go straight to a chipper. :)

My short game isn't that bad.

I really like the 910 fairways.

910's for sure, go the 13.5 if you hit it high, the 15 goes high but looooonnngggg.

Yep correct.
I had it dialed down to 16.25* and still went a nice mid-high ball flight.

Anyone playing either of these 3 woods?

Yes. I have a 910F in 15 degrees.

How are they off the tee/deck?

With a decent swing, I can hit it well off either. The swing part is the tricky part.

What did it kick out of your bag?

TM V-steel (old faithful).

Is it a keeper?

Yes. I don't seem to use my 3 wood very often, so I don't replace them very often either. Not that I feel any need to replace it, mind you.

What shaft do you have and how does it launch?

I've got the stock Project X in stiff. For me it launches lowish, but with a flat ballflight.

Nice work L... crazy how we can just step back sometimes and do something like that and bring things back to reality.

Your set up is sounding A LOT like the way I am thinking of heading... hmmm. :smt023

Yes, play a 910Fd 15*

Definitely a keeper, have a 910F 19* on the wishlist.

'Ahina 82S shaft cut .5" off whatever is stock length...

Got a 980F in strong 15* with Fuji Speeder with a head as rough as Yoss's girlfriend.

Experiment day 1: Called Simmsy's mate and asked if he could get me the 910F ready with the shaft I wanted and was told no problems. Got there and there was no 910F as someone had it. Lovely.

Tried the 910FD instead and the Ping I-15.

The I-15 was rubbish with whatever the stock shaft was.

The first 2 balls I hit with the Titty were dead down the pipe. I thought I might be on to a winner.

I puller out my 07 Burner TP and hit it down the pipe, about 5m further, with a softer ball.

Tried it off the deck on the next hole:

I-15, missed the green by 50m right.

Titty hit one on and one a little right.

Burner hit both on, one to about 8 feet.

Bottom line is the 07 Burner is going nowhere.

Would still like to try the 910F, but I can't see it being any better.

The Titty felt a little harsh off the clubface. The Burner feels much nicer. It must be hunny dipped.

You wanna love titty don't you but they just go bitter on you don't they.

It was still really nice, don't get me wrong. However, Taylor just performed slightly better.

It's not worth blowing my $315 of pro shop credit on something that is not a huge improvement.

Yeah do the Myjoys!

Don't get the WannabePro to help with colour schemes though.

Mate, I'll probably design something that you would consider to be worse than what he has. I'm currently experimenting with metallic silver and purple combos.

Tried it, ended up with a Cally Razr Hawk. Was the winner by a landslide.
