What's the consensus on Cally stand bags of the last couple years? Might have a line on one for cheap but would rather keep the coin in my pocket if they are duds. Might have a model name/number tomorrow if that helps/makes any difference.

Cheers :)

Check the weight of the model once you get details. Some callys can be very Tourfit.

FT stand bags weigh a ton, plenty of pockets and storage , but just to heavy to carry

ok so solid design but maybe on the heavy side depending on the model?

I am weak as piss so heavy is no good

They don't really have any good light models. I did a lot of research before becoming the WA trendsetter with the Sun Mountain.

Ps. I think you've just named my bag for me. Only disappointed that I didn't think of it.

Cally bags used to be made by OGIO, don't know if they still are though. I've never seen a decent lightweight one though, they all seemed pretty heavy to me.

I have the Ping Hoofer and it is lightweight and comfortable with enough pockets.

Looks like it is a warbird Xtreme. Listed at 6lb...I take it that is toward the chubbier end of the scale?

I've had the Warbird about 2 years. Still solid and heavy. Be weary of where the graphite shafts rest as the clothe wears down quickly which then rubs away at the shaft. Some remediation will be required.

Cheers id. I think he is going to make me an offer I can't refuse in terms of a freebie 8)

Awesome sauce.

Turned into a free bag. Used for one round. The legs are still plastic wrapped. At the very least I have a sweet bag for throwing a few clubs in when I hit the range if it doesn't work out for 18 holes of carrying.

I hope it turns out awfully for you.

What's that...? Striking looking, and great colour combinations & coordination, but often the performance doesn't match the appearance?

6'6" Pieface worrying over a 6lb bag...when he usually has to carry 12lbs of pills to get through a round!

GOLD.

It's a cumulative effect TF. Plus I find an extra 12lb of hot dots in the bush as I look for my tee shots.

The weight counts for more when you aren't offsetting things with your own gravitational field too! :p

Feel free to ask for opinions the next time you're trying to decide if you should accept free gear.

I wasn't expecting the freebie when it came up originally...
