getting this weird message when i log in

Warning: Division by zero in [path]/includes/class_core.php(4070) : eval()'d code on line 1

seems to be functioning fine apart from this popping up briefly while it redirects me to the main forum page

So you are the one that keeps doing it.

Is this from your PC or mobile?

I have received notifications of this database error, but haven't followed it up yet.

Yeah I have it two.

I see it at the 'thank you for logging on screen', after entering Username/Password (on both home and work desktops).

I suspect that it may have something to do with trying to decide which banner to display (but throws a tanty instead).

I get that message when I log on @ work. Doesn't appear when I log in from home though.

Why do you suspect this, Dotty?
It's only a gut feel, but the 'random' display of the 7 banners may be related to how many pages a user has displayed since logging on (or possibly number of seconds).

Since the welcome page is the first (or absolute zero), then a zero is put into the magic formula.

Interesting theory. Hasn't the error only appeared recently though?

This error is frustrating me now. I don't know why it happens and a couple of small things I've tried haven't fixed it.

Hopefully it goes away when I do a site upgrade, which is due.

I get it on my mobile. I blamed the Android fanbois.

It happens whenever you log in regardless of the browser. I've wasted too much time on it today, instead of doing more important things. It's just one of those things that I want to figure out.

Maybe you should ask Henno (http://www.ozgolf.net/showthread.php/24119-Ask-Henno). ;)

Sorry I had a couple of beers after indoor last night and thought that post would be enough:)

Lightweight style. It takes me to the redirect page and then just back to the lightweight forum style without being logged in?

Wasn't the last problem you reported a PEBCAK type issue?

Yossarian

Yes.

AndyP
