I just regriped my clubs with these new Sharpro 3CAT Tri-compound grips, I have not hit with them as yet but they do feel fantastic...they seem to be priced very well against other premium grips and the current deal includes a free space age putter grip when you buy 13 of these grips. The putter grip has a fatter section for your bottom hand that is flat on top, it does feel pretty comfortable.....anyone else tried them.

They should be decent grips like their previous offerings. If the "number one brand grip on tour" buys their designs for their own use you can be confident they make good shit.

So Golf Pride copies Sharpro and not the other way round?

Was looking at these while scouting for some GPMC's.....thought they were a bit of a rip off of the GP stuff but they looked the goods so be keen to hear your thoughts stuartd147

From what I understand Sharpro are the pioneers and hold the patents that Golf Pride buy and use, hence the GP stuff being dearer, so these are not cheap knockoff's rather the "originals"...stu

Almost bought a set of the white non-cord version, but bailed on the idea - think I need a better game to back-up having white grips ........................... !? (still bought Sharpro tho).

Correct mate. Just like all the big companies copying Scott Son's adjustable hosel driver he designed for Nakashima. The majors often poach/ licence designs from smaller players after the little guys bust their asses & wallets getting patents approved by the USGA/R & A. Then their massive marketing $$ make it look like they were the originators all along. It's what keeps some of the small creative designers in business.

I have one on my hybrid, feels nice. We'll see how long it lasts, they seem a little thin towards the end. But you can get them cheap, and at the price it's worth a try.

I used my clubs with these 3CAT grips yesterday on the range and today on course and they seem softer under my hands. I think I need to add another wrap of paper under them though. They seem smaller overall but I like them so far.

I do really like the putter grips though!!!!!!!!!

Not the butt end.
What do you call the opposite of the butt end?

I have been using the grips for the past 4 rounds. Recently I had been using the Golf Pride Dual Compound grips and just putting these on with my compressor and no glue and these have been very stable. The Sharpro 3CAT's are softer and seem to twist a bit so I will blow them back off and glue these I think. I have been using both with just one wrap of tape.....stu

I found the Decade Multis could move a bit in the soft coloured bit, a little bit of bostic contact adhesive in the end of theg rip before fitting fixed that up nicely, and you can still blow em off.

A clubmaker mate recently suggested using cheap rubber glue. Makes it easier to slip the grip on and you can still blow them off no problem according to him.
