I like old school irons and been wanting to try a forged set for a while now and these seem to fit the bill for a chopper like me!
Anyone had a set of these, and with what shafts.
All responses appreciated!

I was -><- this close to buying some MP30's back in 2000? when I was in the states. I tried them and the Cleveland TA3 and ended up going with the Clevos. My good mate bought the MP30s and I tried his plenty. Good solid irons. We both had Rifle 6.0 shafts.

I have MP-30 with DG S300. Great irons and assuming you can hit it reasonably solid you will love them. I have honestly never heard anyone have a bad word to say about them.

Mate of mine has them with DG R300's. As Toolish said, if you can actually hit consistently, then they're great. Can be had dirt cheap these days too.

I have still got mine which is my practice set. For some reason I have never been able to work the ball with them. I can work the ball with all the other irons I have but not these. The reason I think is that my the ball flight is much higher with these irons.

I play MP-30's with DG s300's.I love the heads but i think i could do with a change of shaft, next set maybe. But yeah, the 30s are superb, you get the best of both worlds imo.

The 30's are good irons but not great IMO. Pretty unforgiving for a cavityback. The 32's are a lot better looking, very forgiving for a blade and better feeling. They can be had very cheap also.

How are they harder than 30's ? 3 and 4 iron would be hard in both.

Agreed, the 32's are great. Very forgiving for a blade, you will see no diff between
30s and 32s and they look great.
Had a set with s300, sold them for $200,

They are all pretty much the same I reckon, the mp 60's are a good mix of all them, they are dirt cheap now.

If the 32's are to much club then the 30's are as well. The 60's are very similar to the 30's and I find it hard to understand why they were so popular for a while. Like the 30's they lack the feel of other Mizuno heads. They aren't dogs, but they are average compared to some IMHO.

Sure, I doubt mine will sell though, they are placed there a bit high as I having nothing else to use this weekend if they go ;)
