HA! Believe it or not but I may be a chance for this......we might have my daughter's birthday on the weekend before.

I won't know if I'm a definite until this gets a bit closer but I'd like my name put in the list in pencil if poss.......if we're getting close to full and someone else wants in as a definite, I can go on the 'stand by' list.

They are all of the horny variety. At least I didn't confuse a moose for a bull, instead of a stag. Yep, a Canadian sure would know.

Its sort of like how my cousin in Italy thought we all had pet kangaroos in Australia.

But she didnt really get just how big a Red Kangaroo was! They think all our marsupials are the size of a small terrier and are jumping everywhere through Adelaide Tce :)

White elephants?

No, real ones. I'm sure I've told you about it before. I lived across the road from a large block of bushland, almost opposite where Belmont Forum is now. One year the Parry Bros Circus showed up and set up in that block. It was amazing, going to sleep at night listening to lions roaring, chimps doing whatever chimps do, and knowing it was all less than 100m away. I spent my whole school holidays there. The only downside was that the practice motocross track I had there was flattened to make way for the tents, trailers etc.

I would still vote for staying in accom slightly further south.

Dunsborough Lakes was a good Saturday track.

Bunbury on Friday would surely be better than Pinjarra. (Although I will never play Friday so ignore me)

Meadow is fun, but for the right price. Not worth paying double what we would pay at other tracks.

I'll throw my hat in the ring:

If we can get a good deal at Meadow Springs, I'd be interested as I also haven't played there before. It could be a good option on the Friday IMO on the way down OR The Cut (for somewhere else different to where we usualy go).

We could do Dunsborough Lakes CC on the Sat (as it's public and we should get on) and Busselton on the Sun (as it's booked up on the sat).

These tracks are good choices IMO as quite a few of us have played Mandurah CC, Bunbury, Binningup and KB quite a bit this year. I'm with Hocko, time we mix it up a bit.

Dunsborough seems a little up and down, but its an enjoyable walk and last time I played it (despite struggling with the scoring) I remembered feeling like I wanted to go round it again.

This schedule of courses would assume though that we get accom down near Dunsborough/Busselton for both Fri/Sat nite.

I want to attend the whole weekend and donate a cracker of a prize as it's sure to be a blast of a weekend, but my availability is just going to depend on what work situation I'm in come November. It may be a new FIFO job up north OR I could still be based in Perth.

Lets hope in the coming weeks I finally land that lucky break I've been waiting for, for SO long... and when November comes round, who could ask for a better bunch of blokes to celebrate the good news with?

It would surely be a perfect outcome, but lets wait and see...
