Does what lies beneath matter?

We used to all wear jock straps at tennis, is there a preference for performance or comfort in under wear for golf.

Ummm what? Might make the round more comfortable ball soup wise in summer. But don't know about affecting your swing...

Paging the Colonel?

Good call. Boxers reduce the risk of chaffing. Chaffing hinders your swing.

Haven't worn undies for 10+ years, can't say I miss the sweat on a 40 degree day.

Depends on whether your boys are big enough to act as counter balances!

I always wear lycra skins when playing. Chafe is a forgotten enemy of mine.

I've been doing that since I had a bad episode of chaffing over summer. Haven't had a problem since.

Do you guys wear boxers with shorts? Dont you find it a little drafty? Do you ever have "containment" issues?

It's a ball tearer of a way to play golf.

I wear boxers, but in summer I wear bike pants underneath when playing golf to avoid chafing issues much like Benno

I will have to remember not to stand opposite certain ozgolfers when they are lining up their putts.
