View Full Version : Eagles & Birdies vs Ogio Cart bag?

My old Eagles and Birdies cart bag is starting to go in the bottom of the dividers and I am thinking about a new cart bag. My question is: should I stick with the Eagles & Birdies or try out the Ogio (House of Golf has them on special for $189 at the moment)

Thoughts?

Go the Pebble Beach E&B - it's a cracker. Magnetised front pockets - less zips to potentially fk up - and plenty of storage space.

I despise E&B. Talk about boring!! I haven't seen the new lines but just basing my opinion on last years range.

I have an Ogio Grom and they are great. The wood-e system is the best innovation to appear on a golf bag. Quality is great and has a pocket for everything.

Mine has specialized pockets for; scorecards, pencil, pen, divot tool, zipperless ball pocket, drink bottle, valuables, tees, gps, etc etc. Everything is also thoughtfully located. I carry and it has made golfing so much easier.

Eagles and Birdies are well-built, but designed for old men. Ogio all the way.

I'm an old man.

Well, 48, so my kids tell me I'm old.

I'm old.

Isn't "despise" a little harsh?

Sorry, despise is harsh.

I shudder at the sight/ mention of the bags.

LOL ... OK I am 50 so "old"

I really like the magnetic fasteners and the club hood with it's easy access closure method in the Ogio.

The E&B has been good to me but is $100 more at the moment.

Ogio is ahead in the race at this time.

ogio are great cart bags IMO. as carry bags their straps are awful and too heavy by half IMO of course.

So if carting go ogio fo sho! Especially over E & B! ;)

I have a Ping Hoofer carry bag which is pretty good, I need a cart bag for my old man electric trolley.

Ogio certainly seem to be getting the vote.
