Game Improvement Irons: Mizuno MX, Cobra FP or similar

Hi Guys,

I've decided to step back and trial a set of game improvement irons. I'm after a set of Mizuno MX irons (25, 200, 300 etc...) as a first preference, but would consider Cobra FP 2008 or a similar type of club.

Standard length is fine, half an inch over is better. I play right between stiff and reg (I'm currently using Project X 5.0's in my players irons). Right handed mens clubs are obviously what I'm after.

Lack of practice time is the reason I'm getting a set of game improvement irons. I wouldn't play a set of TM 300's over my Mizunos anyways....

I have a set of MX-300s. Barely used, nothing worse than 8 out 10 and I'm being a little harsh (Got them when I couldn't hit my MP52s but figured my swing out). 2˚ upright (Can be bent back obviously), apart from that standard with Nippon NS Pro 950 Stiff shafts (Kind of between usual Stiff and Reg). 4 - PW. I'm in Melbourne.

I have a set of Wilson Staff Ci-7s. 4i to PW. TX-105 Stiff (plays like a soft stiff or firm reg). 38.5" 5 iron. In good condition (8+) having always had head covers on. These are a nice forgiving head, without being chunky. Longer from heel to toe being the biggest concession to forgiveness. I would want to re-grip them, as I want to keep the leather grips, so you could choose whatever grips you wanted, or grip them yourself.
