Agree Daves, not US tour but they did 2hrs 50 the front nine of the Ballantines last weekend. I thought 5 hrs was pushing it but these blokes seem hell bent on getting to 6hrs. Everytime I see some punter on the weekend get over a putt and then pull away my hatred for Furyk grows.

Yep, that is the sort of thing that makes him a dick, he can be a snarly, cantankerous wanker at times. I have no problem with his outspokenness.

On the crane and sabo incident.. Not sure if the real story come out but the reason He walked off on him is that on tour, if your group gets put on the clock, it is a cross for everyone in that group even if it's not your fault.. Once you get 10 crosses throughout the year it is an automatic 20k fine!! And then it doubles every five more...
So sabo was on his 9th time and they were about to get put on the clock.. So he took it into his on hands and to be honest I would have done the same.. I think slow play is nearly cheating and should be harsher penalties like 2shots!!!
Anyways I'm not sticking up for sabo as a person but he is one of the fastest players and I think he was in the right on this occasion

So why would Sabo have been put in the clock 9 times already in one year? They only play in twos. if he is that fast, then there must be some players who have heaps more than that.

Play in 3s on thurs fri then 2s on sat sun if tv permits.... So if your group is behind time you will be warned once and given a couple of holes to catch up, if your still behind everyone gets a crosse then put on the clock.... Everyone is timed per shot then... The first to hit has 42 sec second guy has 41 and the last has 39 I think.. If you go over this time it's classed as a bad time and will be another cross...
I have had two timings this year already and my average time to hit is 22sec.. It's a stupid rule but it is what it is
