I was lucky enough to get a really good buy price on a few Miyazaki shafts, but I'm itching to try a Nunchuk!
Does anyone have one?

Well that's obviously why you can afford a $200+ shaft! :)

I can do free post - $225 delivered.

Shafts were bought at $1.03 - it will give me a bit of margin on the shafts that I sell on eBay for $250

Are you going to put it in that pretty white driver of yours Pauly? You'll look like a Freo supporter with that in your hands! :)

Will be interested in hearing what you think.

Nooooo, not in the white one, though I did snap that shaft last Saturday. I'll bung a Miyazaki in that one I think.
I have a nice Adams F11 in mind for for the Nunchuka.

lead tape mate - the adams is a stupidly light head.

I think Tourfit is bringing one in an Adams head to the Vines tomorrow; keen to have a hit with one as directional control is a bit of an issue for me with driver.

Anyone played one of these in a Superdeep yet? How did it play?

Virge, how much for one of these tipped for an R9 and posted to Cairns? Oh, and do you take credit cards?

Superdeep 10.5 arriving on Tuesday - will advise once I set it up.

The Nike VR Tour is my pick at present... frigging great club. The 909 D2 is pretty good - but a very ugly head, it is just a bit too round.

The tips are about $30 delivered to me, and the shaft is $225 delivered. So make it $260 installed and cut... add $7 for a decent grip or you can cut andput one on yourself.

LASTLY: I have cut all my NunChuks to 44.5 inches with much better success than 46 and 45.5.

No worries Virge, will await your thoughts on the Superdeep/Nunchuk pairing as well as hopefully giving the shaft a twirl tomorrow albeit in a different head. Then negotiations will have to begin with my financial controller. If you could let me know how the Superdeep goes, would be most grateful

I'll get my Nunchuk from Virge on Monday and will be trying it in an R9 adaptor (have both Superdeep and Supertri)... will let you know in a couple of weeks.

Fallen out of love with your RIP outcast? You were hitting em beautifully with it last week.... cant see how you could improve that ballflight. I guess once a ho.....

No not really;

Hit the Nunchuck in Fit's FT9 today but, didn't really put a good swing on it so couldn't really reach any conclusions - just hunting that elusive combination that sees me nail every fairway, everytime....

Didn't mind the feel of the Nunchuck shaft but, it wasn't a magic bullet for the crap swing I put on it; be interested to hear what it goes like in a Super Deep but, not sure whether I will go that route at this point.

Today was a mixed bag of hitting, some good, some great and plenty of absolute rubbish - one might say, typical day on the course really

Share the love mate - need to know the length you are playing it too... I have found anything longer than 45" absolutley useless unless you are a Fred Funk kind of guy. (Slow and straight)

You can't let the shaft swing you...

thanks virge, I would prob need a x in that one, but thanks anyway.

No drama's mate - I will be doing a big cleanout soon of shafts and drivers - see if we can find you some thing then.

Nunchuck in SuperDeep is SUPER DUPER low spin. I had 4g and 6g weights in and set to NU. I will be using the 909D2 tomorrow with the Nunchuck in it on the course but will take the SuperDeep to the range with the weight kit and have a play, I have been reading that heavier heads give higher launch with this shaft so interested to see what weight and shaft setting works best.

hey virge,

how much for a nunchuck with a 910 adapter installed plus a grip installed and shipped to melbourne?

virge666
6th May 2011, 11:34 PM
eBay for the adapter - I think $41 is the going rate - but if you can find a cheaper one...

$225 for the shaft - 3 left from the latest import.

GP DD grips are $14.

damn. Probably a little out of my price range. If you ever have a second hand one lying around that your willing to palm off for cheaper let me know!
