Cool vid there Dave.

They're certainly a fair size too ... my mate at work wasn't fibbing when he said they were over 6 feet long

I can't believe they didn't use footage of your swing, Daves.

I saw the piece they did. I thought it was old news. Isn't it the reason why it's called the Shark Lake Challenge?

I was a member there for 5+ years and I never saw them (not for sure), it was all mainly rumors.

I was chatting to the Carbrook Super today and he said some clowns got in an caught the big shark in there. Hooked it and it got tangled up in the line and drowned. He spotted it floating around and said it was every bit of 8 foot.

Not surprised... there is a lot of clowns in Logan!!!!

Not yet but working on it.
There was a very important trade day today at Ocean Shores that involved a few coldies, 9 holes of golf and a bbq...topped off with a Thai Chicken Humble Pie on the way home for dinner...life is good.

Sounds like fun, except you forgot a quick end or two of lawn bowls while someone else cooks the bbq.

Bull sharks account for a high % of attacks on humans. Mainly becuase they can go into fresh water also and quite like shallow water.

beware!!

No more than usual. What purpose does "fishing" the sharks in there achieve? There isn't any residential area there is there?

PeteyD

Nothing, but perhaps the size of the shark was more than they could handle.

Carbrook = Logan. High chance the deceased shark was the victim of the latest bogan fishing adventure.
