Wow, me first again.

Played at Georges River again today and I wish I could say it was just like last week but it wasn't I was back to my consistently inconsistent best.

Was the Midweek Monthly medal there on recently cored slow greens. but no excuses i just had too many brain fades to let it matter.

92 Gross
72 Nett

2 Birdies
2 Pars
8 Bogies
6 Doubles or worse
5/12 Fairways
2 GIR
32 Putts with 2 3 putts

Tried the old Adams GT driver as the Cobra is just going too high, will not be trying it again. Will be on the look out for a new driver in the near future. Also trying a new swing with me standing more upright and less crouched, seems to be working only down side is I seem to have lost a little distance.
Next game: Leon Treadwell Golf Day

06/04/2011, Carbrook GC.

Score (http://www.ozgolf.net/andyp/Scorecard/rounds/20110406-p52.html): Lots

No H/cap Change.

I felt confident going into the round and natrually pull hooked the first shot into the piss, lost the plot, laid up into the creek, took triple, continued to lose the plot. I held it together for a few holes, then pulled another tee shot on 6 for another triple. I gave up after the tee shot on 8. Worst mental game ever. Disgraceful! Sleep deprivation is my excuse, but it still wasn't good enough.

Next round: Pennants at Sandgate on Sunday.

Nice card Mega. Awesome scrambling numbers too, and 8 one putts.

What software is that, BTW? Looks great!

Golfshot. I use it on iPhone, and can view the stats there or online. It also does GPS.

And yes, I did hit 3 wood. Will have to change it, but will leave this up.

Managed to get out onto a course for 9 holes for the first time in about 6 weeks - back 9 at Glenmore Heritage.

+3 (1 birdie, 4 bogeys, the rest pars)
4/7 fairways
5/9 GIR
1/4 up and downs
16 putts

It was my first time on course with the 300 Forgeds, and it's still taking a little bit of time to find the right tempo for them. A couple of my wayward approaches airmailed the green by about half a club length, and the others were more or less pushes. Driver worked well, iron play was OK, and my short game/putting was a little mixed.

I'll have time next week to get in at least 2 or 3 18 hole rounds, so will keep on working on the swing tempo and get the 300s working a bit better.

I may be wrong here, but isn't the idea to get clubs that suit your tempo ? Not change your swing to suit your clubs ?

I played this morning at a soggy Cairns GC with DCanto, Tomson & Solarman. I'm still scratching my head as to how I managed to score as well as I did considering how poorly I hit the ball. :smt102

Mate email Golfshot and tell the the correct course rating and get them to set the slope to 113. Stableford scores will then work. They'll normally have it fixed in 24 hours.

Final of the club matchplay champs today. I snuck a win 1 up! Giddyup! First "club champion" for me of any description in 20 years of golf.

Played last years champ, a guy off 3 with a sublime short game. Neither of us played our best today, but I did enough for the win. I think I was 81 or so off the plates. We were pretty even all the way til the 16th, when I stuck a 4 iron in pretty close for the win to go one up. We halved 17 in birdies and then I halved 18 for the win. Pretty stoked right now.

Final Round of the Club Championships today - finished 3rd overall
72 gross 66 nett (Par 70)

Hit the ball really well all day, can only remember hitting 2 poor shots.
Missed a 15 inch putt on the 18th which cost me the daily comp. win. (Runner up on countback)

Not quite as impressive as Vegas or Steve.

Yesterday was the final round of the Bonnie Doon champs. I went into the round 6th in A-Res.

Shot the low round in my grade - 81 with 9 GIR and 30 putts - to move up to 3rd place.

Was +4 through three holes, parred 4-7, bogeyed 8 and 9 which are both tough par fours, parred through to 12, then 13-14 I played in +4 to hand over any chance of contending, then played the last three in even par.

I was nine back starting the day, so I never fancied that I had a chance of contending, but pleasing to finish top three.

Once upon a time there was a reasonable golfer who played golf one fine Sunday.

He had 41 putts on his way to an 8 over 80

THE END.

I played Par Comp at Lakelands (WA) on Sat arvo...gusty winds, back tees and some tough pins (ACR 73)

Let's just say that for the way I chopped it all day (AND I MEAN CHOPPED IT!), I finished at -2, my 'cap went down AND I LOST A SHOT! (9.6 to 9.3). I am astounded at my score...never have I played SO bad for a -2.

And I was hoping to go out in time for Champs and a Matchplay game vs Mega...oh well, there's always Tuesday at Secret Harbour.

Awesome stuff BV, congratualtions.

I played my Qtr Final of the Club Champs yesterday against the winner for of the previous 2 years. I went down 2/1 which was played over 36 holes.

I hit the ball fantastic and missed only 5 greens in 35 holes. I just didn't hole enough putts unfortunately, my opponent on the other hand was just awesome with the putter and hardly missed a putt all day.

Doing a rough score check we both would have been about -1 or 2 for the 35 holes.

bad luck MT. Your club has got waaay more depth than mine obviously! A gross score in the 70's is always a chance for a win at Brookwater.
