Post your name in this thread if you wish to participate in "2011 OZgolf US Masters" Tipping Competition.

Bureaucracy/Privacy/Identity Theft Thing


1. 5 player choices (maximum 2 from current top 10)

2. Selections need to be posted in this thread by 5pm Sydney time on Thursday before the US Masters.

3. Winner will be decided on greatest accumulation of prize money for the US Masters from the 5 selected players (in the unlikely event that more than one OZgolfer has the most accumulated prize money at the end of the prize pool will be shared)

4. If a player withdraws from the field before tee off on day #1, the 1st emergency will be substituted for all OZgolf entries with that withdrawn player. For the Masters ONLY, you can nominate a reserve, the Masters does not have "standbys".

5. Any player who withdraws from the event after the tournament starts (ie. after day 1 begins) no substitutes are allowed in their place.

6. Thread Owner is the Adjudicator (http://www.ozgolf.net/forums/member.php?u=226) in any disputes and all decisions are final.

7. If in doubt on any matter, refer to #6 for clarification.

8. The Adjudicator (http://www.ozgolf.net/forums/member.php?u=226) will post the results of the tipping comp in the thread he started.

10. $10 fee, to be paid to the Adjudicator (http://www.ozgolf.net/forums/member.php?u=226) by the closing time for the Masters tips. Deposit details will be PM’d.

11. Prize money will be split – 1st Place 70% of the pot, 2nd Place 20% of the pot, 3rd Place 10% of the pot.

Yeah what happened to Kaymer? Did he die in a 'bunker' or something? Not to offend the German, just some light fun. I'm a big fan of Kaymer, he is an 'iceman' that always seems so cool, collected and focused about what he's trying to do and has that champion demeanor about him. He's not completely out of it, but has a lot of work ahead to get back in this thing.

And Paddy, did he even play? Looks like I backed the wrong Irishman. I think I'm the Irishman for picking him... so far it's looking like a donation for me.

But hey, ogilvy could turn out to be my trump card :) but history is stacked against him

Let's face it, normally it is the young guns (eg. McIlroy, Yang, Quiros) that set the early pace before the experienced guys come into it later. Hopefully the Aussie boys use their experience, come into it later and stick around for the weekend.

A win is a win and always figured the Aussies would be in the mix somewhere - and let's face it, Steven Bradbury still accepted his medal at the winter olympics (sort of resembles these circumstances).
