Hey all,
Presidents Cup ticket prices have just been released and go on sale to the general public next Monday (April 4).
I've just posted about the prices which seem a little steep. $475 GA for all 5 days (inc practice day) or around $140 a day.
What do you think?

Seems very steep !!
Is this price comparable to prices for the event when it's held in the USA ?

Probably is comparable to the US Jarro. It seems as if it is classed as a premium event that we just have to pay for as such.
Not that I am saying it is worth that sort of coin though.

Sounds about fair. Remember there no more than 12 groups on the course at any time. Crowd numbers would have to be capped I would imagine.
Field is infinitely better than anything else you see in Australia.

A seasons pass was $400 in 1998 from memory.

Just the first 3 days and then home to watch all the action on TV.

Think I'll be entering every competition for free tickets and hoping like hell I win. That sort of coin is well out of my budget!

Looking at the prices, its not $140 a day, thats the price to sit in a grandstand. Regular GA tickets $60 prac rounds, $110 Thurs/Fri, $130 Sat/Sun.

Still freaking expensive. I don't even like watching golf in person, going to the practice round will should be good and Sat as well I think it is.
