Too early for me to get to unfortunately. It looks like I'll do Gailes on Wednesday or Ashgrove on Thursday instead.

Ferrins
23rd February 2011, 08:09 PM
I'll have a hit

goonie
25th February 2011, 10:38 PM
I will release the 2nd group on Sunday if there is nor interest.

goonie
27th February 2011, 05:50 PM
Canceled the second group due to no interest, but I think they will still have spare tee times, also confirmed that the greens haven't been cored.

Ferrins
28th February 2011, 03:08 PM
I'm out, sorry.

Jarro
28th February 2011, 03:23 PM
Sorry to hear that Ferrins.

Anybody else keen ?

Ferrins
28th February 2011, 06:42 PM

You can take it if you want, Ferrins. I was never officially locked in so unless you're planning on having another golfy tantrum the spot's all yours.

Jarro

What's it gonna be ladies ?

Lucasto23

I want it, stuff the ferret :)

And stuff the henno too, I suppose?

Lucasto23

Take no prisoners mate :)

goonie
28th February 2011, 09:49 PM
should we start a second group again?

Ferrins
28th February 2011, 09:59 PM
should we start a second group again?

Stuff sloppy seconds, henno doesn't have enough gold coins saved up and Lucas will bail late with work commitments.

goonie
28th February 2011, 10:20 PM
Second group? I can ring tomorrow and check there is a spare group.

1. Henno
2. Lucasto23

Anymore?

Don't bother with the second group. I should probably spend the day looking for a job anyway.

Bummer henno :(

So who's got the 4th spot ? Lucas or Ferrins ??

Ferrins
2nd March 2011, 12:35 PM
Lucas can kiss my ar^e.

Jarro
2nd March 2011, 12:36 PM
Lucas can have it

As long as you're sure ?

goonie will have to give them the proper names is all.

henno
2nd March 2011, 12:42 PM
What the f***king f**k, Ferrins. You're in and out more than a nymphomaniac's dildo.

Jarro
2nd March 2011, 12:43 PM
I think he just wants to feel loved

Ferrins
2nd March 2011, 12:43 PM
I want it, stuff the ferret :)

Lucas intimidates me and after visiting the dodgy suburb he lives in, I'd bet he's packing half the time.

Ferrins
2nd March 2011, 12:46 PM
I'm happy to play but also happy to stay at home and knit.

henno
2nd March 2011, 12:47 PM
Something makes me feel like I've being leap-frogged twice for this game. I think it's an omen: find a job, henno.

Ferrins
2nd March 2011, 01:44 PM
Don't you dole bludges hang out at Centrelink on a Thursday morning, followed by a session in the park.

I've never received a penny from the Government. Never have; never will.

I will, however, meet you down at Minippi Parklands for a few bongs later.

goonie
2nd March 2011, 03:07 PM
don't need names, just bring your golflink cards.

I take it if Lucas wants it it's his spot, if not Ferrins is in??? Can we work this out today please.

Jarro
2nd March 2011, 03:17 PM
Lucas was keen, and Ferrins said the spot was his.

I can only assume that Lucas is now in ?

Ferrins
2nd March 2011, 03:45 PM
I'm playing unless Lucas wants the spot or henno changes his mind, clear as mud. Best check with morgy as he knows how to set things straight.

henno
2nd March 2011, 04:18 PM
Here's how I read the series of events:

* Ferrins pulls out
* henno jumps in
* Ferrins has a change of heart
* henno being the nice lad he is offers the spot back to Ferrins
* Lucas throws his hat in the ring as a reserve
* goonie offers up a second group
* henno declines second group idea
* confusion reigns

tl;dr Enjoy the day, Ferrins.

Ferrins

The South African tosser has had sufficient time to respond, so stuff him I'm playing.

Ferrins
2nd March 2011, 08:11 PM
I'll see you guys in the morning.

Ferrins is in, I got an empire to build :)

Ferrins

Good luck with that, maybe start with a shower and a shave.

Jarro

jarro wins 2 up.

We both started poorly, spraying shots all over the place, but i somehow managed to keep goonie at bay for the front nine and finished at 2up.

This lead didn't last long however with goonie coming out of the blocks quickly on the back nine with a solid par on 10 and a chip in birdie on 11.

I managed to win the 12th hole and keep the advantage through to the 17th where i had a 6 foot downhill put for par that would've sealed the deal .... but i pushed the putt wide (bad ghost putter)

Headed to 18 just needing a par, and proceeded to hit a good drive to 150 out, and hit a solid 5 iron to about 10 feet which was good enough for a par and the win :)

Thanks to goonie, Eag's and Ferrins for a good day on the course, albeit a little hot out there

Ferrins

Thanks guys and Rich your a tosser for letting the boilers play through. That asian bird whispered something in my ear and I went bogie, bogie and double next three holes.
Well played Ghostrider.

If you ever get harrassed by a group of elderly women golfers, Ferrins is the man you wanna have in the trenches with you.

The way he smoothed over a potential slapfest was truly inspiring.

Congrats again Jarro for winning your match. Bad luck Goonie.
Nice win in the comp Ferrins.

Isn't the comp combined over the Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday scores?

Ferrins
3rd March 2011, 08:53 PM
Your correct, coming second so far but will get blitzed with the Friday crowd.

Thanks for the game guys, Jarro was very solid with his ghey white clubs, he hit his driver very solid and putted well (except on 17) the clubs in between got him in trouble a few times but nothing serious (but allowed me to stay in the match), but he saved his best approach shot for the 18th, it was very hard to try and hit a better shot after watching that approach and needed to win the hole (it looked much closer than 10 feet from the fairway).
I put a few good holes together near the end of the round but basically sprayed it all over the place and had no control over where the ball was going most of the time.

Well done Mark and good luck for the rest of the matchplay.
