This is an almost new Diablo Octane Tour Head 9.5 degrees.

I was in the process of pulling the shaft when i received a phone call from my sister. I got a little distracted and held the heat gun stationary instead of moving it whilst I was in conversation with her. It resulted in a a little bit of paint blistering.

The blistering is very minor. The photos make it look worse than it is. You could easily fix it with touch up paint (see here (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/GPI-Touch-up-Paint-Callaway-Diablo-Octane-CA-GP5630-/160546545282)). Alternatively, if you're really keen you can sand the crown back, then respray and re-laquer.

As I was extracting the shaft for a friend, I have done the right thing and replaced it for him. Just looking to recuperate some of my losses.

I can take some more photos tomorrow, as these ones were rushed and didn't turn out that well.

What I should have done is turn off he heat gun, and extract the shaft after the phone conversation. That is what a sensible person would have done.

note to self, probably best not to ask ap81 to work on my clubs.
seriously though, i feel for you mate. it sucks when something like that happens.
look at it this way, it's a small price to pay for not being an anally retentive tosser.

I only ever work on my own clubs. My first and only f**k up, and the last time I work on anyone else's clubs.
