Ok so we are getting our matchplay out of the way this sunday at the wynum cup. From what I can tell on golflink I only have to give him one shot so should be a even match. I think he has me covered unless he brings the matchplay game he did last year against eags. Even then I think j may have a chance.

And then there were two... two shots that is! :)

No sandbagging mate as was hoping to drop a shot. Very happy with the ball striking, just a few errant shots which cost me dearly plus there is no respite playing stroke from the plates. Not to mention the Lakelands rough which (as much as I enjoyed the challenge) was at least 6 inches deep and thick! This was to blame for a 6i flyer which airmailed the green by 20m from 150m out and two greenside chips, one of which rolled through the green into the water. This resulted in two lost balls and about 5 recovery shots. Without those hiccups, I was pretty happy with the way I played.
