TS is a member, and he was going to host my matchplay game, but for various reasons it didn't happen. Tony was worried about getting tee times, as the comp in winter starts about 10.30 and fills up with members, so it is difficult for visitors to get in.

Still, one way or another, a game at Long Reef sounds good.

Sorry guys. I'm out as I'll be working that weekend. If for some reason, Fishy pulls out at the last minute again (eg. sister's husband's brother's birthday) and postpones the match to the following Sunday (ie. 3rd July), then I can make it ... :wink:

I can get us on at 12:30pm, but it's $45......I'm not 100% convinced that it's worth that much $$$ to play here, should we find another course?

When push comes to shove, i'm not that keen to pay $45 for a night-time finish either. But it is a nice course, and i would like to play there. If nothing else is available, i have no problems playing LR.

The cost isn't a problem for me, but the tee time is a concern. A 12.30 start is a big chance to finish in the dark.

Let's try other options.

I'm going to check out Gordon this weekend. By comparison to anything else most people play, we're talking goat-track, but i like it. It doesn't try to be anything it isn't. I think there's 1 hole with a temporary green currently so that will need checking out.
