Seems we weren't too far from these conditions at the 2010 Champs, especially on the 16th :shock:

L-R; 5th green (if you squint you can see the pool =P~) , 16th cart part/greenside entrance, 16th green
L-R; 16th bunkers, 17th cart part LHS fairway, cart path to 17th tee box

And I'm quite sure that SMS can back it up but they didn't receive all that much in comparison to what was all around them.

They should just change the bunker on the 16th to a permanent water hazard :)

In what way? It pissed down here. Only difference between Caloundra and some of the affected areas is that we didn't have a river to cause all sorts of grief.

On the bright side, only a few bunkers were out of play on Saturday. Course staff at PW are amazing.

They should just change the bunker on the 16th to a permanent water hazard :)

Just ditch the hole altogether would be a better decision!
