difference between golf shorts and regular shorts?

Very little, usually most clubs like stuff above the knee.

Also they will be made by brands like nike or ashworth ect.

As do I, the industrie perth store is also quite average, but I may go have another look at it.

I bought some Cutter and Buck shorts from Rockbottom pretty cheap, I think they were $15 - $20 a pair. Also surfstitch.com has some great deals at times if you wear surf gear?

No, we shop at Lowes, for three reasons ...

1. Robert Huntley shorts conform to even the most archaic of dress codes.
2. They have stretch sides, for the extra food and drink at the 19th.
3. TourFit doesn't shop there.

One look at the industrie homepage convinced me that I'm not likely to find anything I like there.

tgw.com has some good deals on golf stuff, and they have a really useful size chart for every item so that you can work out whether the crazy US sizes will fit your skinny frame.

We have the rivers clearance stores down here - most of their stuff is all cargoey, but the other day I found a couple of nice golf-worthy numbers for ten bucks each.

Surprising what you can find at KMart, Target, Lowes and Big W. Around $20 will get you a reasonable pair of shorts that extend beyond the knees. DFO would be my next stop, or in Brissy, the Cutter and Buck clearance centre.

No offence taken, those pics were taken on the same day and I did'nt have time for my usual outfit change at the halfway house ;) besides I think the orange really brings out the red in my eyes. :)

They are, but to enter that store would probably kill me.

I think I'll go with some stuff on the industrie website.

I think you look good to gaz!

I was gonna say, check out the surf shops Yoss. They have some decent 'dress' shorts as they are called that are suitable. I normally pick mine up from those places.
otherwise, newman and brooks have heaps if u want golf brands, but they arn't the cheapest boys in perth. Try Rebel and Gay Mart as well

Problem with a lot of rockbottom's stuff is it's either for little squirts or fat bastards....they obviously get the leftovers others can't move.

I think you just need to get in earlier. I got 3 pairs of 36" (shipped) for $100 AUD.

Shouldn't you be in West End helping to eat all the pies that aren't fit for sale after the floods ??

Do we need a debate about whether three stripes on the side of a pair of shorts is inappropriate for a golf course? It's like a pair of dress tracky-dacks. :)

I've got a couple of pairs of Jay Jays shorts...bought them when they had a 20% off sale a few months back. Pretty solid quality IMO, although the more out there designs were restricted to slim fit.

Plus I picked up a pair of Carve walk shorts for about $20 from Trade Secret around the same time. Good quality, comfortable and just the right length. Plus that place usually has some good walk short designs that aren't too pricey.
