Anyone looked into this at all?

Been doing a bit of reading about it and the 32 ball drill. Seems interesting.

Basically you hit 4 balls actively thinking about some mechanical type issue in your swing.
Then four with your clear key, which is like a song lyric or something to de activate your brain, the repeat till you hit 32 balls.

Tried it tonight and it seems to work.

Interested in others thoughts.

Paul Smith knows a lot about it. We've discussed it a few times. I have a feeling he is doing something with the WACA that involves this sort of stuff at the moment.

You have to be careful that you don't use it as a trigger nor to affect your tempo.

Yeah I've read about the trigger, what does the last bit of your sentence mean?

Slightly fixed. But basically you don't want to use it to help with your tempo. Hard to explain.

Ah, yeah I get what you mean. Have you tried it? Maybe singing you fav U2 song?

I have used them on and off for about 4 years. It is great when you are practicing a bit and can trust your swing. It is hard for me to use them when I am only picking up a club once every 3-4 weeks.

The 32 ball drill is great though...if nothing else it stops ball beating.

Golf is repetition... routine and repetition. Clearkeys can help with that.

There is actually real science behind it... like proper Phd stuff - not just an infomercial with a bloke in a white coat.

Yoss,
Go the website and get the profile done. It's worthwhile.

I've been to the site once ages ago but it was a bit confusing, i'll give it another crack. Does it cost anything?

The 32 ball drill is really good! As Toolish says I feel like I've got a lot more out a the last couple of range sessions.
