Use a bit of lube and you will be fine.

I expected something along those lines.

You are gripping the club in your palm, rather than your fingers. The butt of the club is rubbing on the heel of your palm.

Do you REALLY need an answer to this??

Yossarian

Thats what I thought as well, so I have been making sure at set up it is in my fingers.

It seems to run back down there through impact? Grips too big maybe? Or just my shitty grip?

Don't think so. Gripping too tight?

Maybe. I dunno. It never used to happen.

Maybe you're holding too close to the end of the club and the butt of the grip is rubbing at that spot.

Yossarian

Yeah could be!

Bingo !!

I have the same problem ... well, had that same problem.

By gripping the club a little lower down the grip the wear spot on the glove disappeared 8)

This months Pelican Waters members wire has a good article on what it means when gloves wear in certain places. It is 1760k so too big to attach.

If I give you my email address will it be added to the list?

Maybe I best give you my dummy account.

The list is too hardcore for your pure mindset.

Im gonna go with gaz on this one BUT Jarro is not wrong.Gripping the club too tight & opening your left hand at the top of your swing then regripping on the way down.Bad habit of mine & causes ALOT of problems in a swing.

PS...WA weather is great, parched as at the mo:mrgreen: Cant effin wait to start playing golf !!!!8-)

Regripping halfway thru the backswing.

How do you stop doing that? Just think about it or some kind of drill?

BayBum

Use the jam jar fingers more.Pinky, ring & middle of the left hand for a righty, concentrate on keeping them firm against the grip of the club throughout the entire swing.

You get that wear mark from fingering the hole in the bottom of the cup.
