As the heading says .... a box of brand new Utri Tours.  These spin more than Pro V1x's and Callaways, IMO.  Little bit too much spin with my new ported wedges.  Anyway, I'd be willing to part with them for $40 plus $5 for postage. Sydneysiders can arrange local pickup.

I got the ported 54 degree Cleveland from Nudgee who got it from Nomad (I think). It spins noticeably more than my previous gap wedge (Wishon PCF) which I had bent to 54 degree. Didn't notice much in the way of lower trajectory.

The two little holes at the back of the club, IMO, would not alter the location of the COG to any significant degree. I think it's more the face treatment that makes the difference.

Definitely "cool" wedges to have.

BTW, can anyone tell me the difference between the Cleveland 588's and the 900's?

Good to see a ball sale has turned into a HO-fest on wedges.
Carry on.

Didn't notice much in the way of lower trajectory.

The two little holes at the back of the club, IMO, would not alter the location of the COG to any significant degree.  I had this discussion with T on Sunday, Nomad says it brings down flight by 15%, if you hit it 40 feet in the air, that is a 6 foot difference, will you notice it ? unlikely. The grind of them also "helps" in getting the face back to square, all in all a great wedge.

Having said that, I am gunna have a crack at the Titty Spin Milled shortly, in a 58* / 12, just to see what difference there is. I am finding I am using a sand wedge less these days, relying heavily on my 51* 588 Cleve Nomad, but the 55* could be coming up soon 8) .

588s are a bit bigger..

the 900s are the newer version.

The 588s are the traditional shape chrome/rusty etc. wedges. The 900s are the "form-forged" lineup. They came out alongside the Cleveland TA1 and TA3 form forged irons a couple of years back. I think Trung's right, the 900's are a bit smaller and they have a different sole grind. The 900s also have a bright chrome finish with a matt painted face area. It looks great brand new, but doesn't age as well as the 588 I reckon.

The 588 TSC however, now they are beeewdiful. 8)
What was this thread about again ??
