Another Interesting Find!

So i pulled a shaft from my TM TP 58* wedge to replace with KBS Tours.
Took the grip off to re-use and what did i find underneath?

So this was at the butt end, looks like a lead insert, 1/2" added to the top, went down 2 1/2"'s?
Anyone else seen this T.F, Virge, Tomo, Perci and the like?
Keep in mind this was an OTR TM TP wedge?????

Is it not just a butt extension?

Club was otr (off the rack) had original grip i doubt it was an extension as it was same length as my vokey?
It's aluminium, and quite thick, could it be to counterbalance the club?
There also was a tip weight in it as well.

From the pics it looks like a shaft extender but if its otr then it seems a bit funny.

Was probably a custom order that was never picked up.
