Some people hate it with a passion, I actually find it to be great fun...I also read golf books and took calls hidden in a corner for 2 years which helped. Did what I was told and therefore never got hassled!

I run the IT Helpdesk for an animal Pharmaceutical company in Sydney (Parra) - our main products are for cats and dogs - Frontline Plus (for fleas - and ticks in dogs) and Heartgard (heartworm). They are, as i have learned - 'antiparasiticides' (always wanted to use that word). :D We also do cattle, swine, equine, sheep etc products for 'production' animals.

Though if anyone knows of IT work Sth QLD/Nth NSW perhaps drop me a little PM ;)

I too am a SAHM, goughy would probably debate housewife.. he he, not much housekeeping gets done I am so bad.. I find it much more fun to sell/shop on ebay, do volunteer work for www.posaa.asn.au and chat to my online friends... Oh and when I really have to I also do the accounts for our Upholstery business. goughy is an upholsterer...

TODAY however I have a job interview for a part time Office Admin in a retirement village...I don't wanna go because I wanna stay home with our girl and it is going to break my heart but we could really use the money right now...sigh... :?

It was nice to be shortlisted tho because it was one of those awful jobs that have Key Selection Criteria... it would be nice if that meant it paid well?????

I'm the city boy, born and bred. When we started out i didn't know if we'd last because i need a city to survive.

How times change. It's not happening tomorrow, but i can't wait until we do it. The idea is to move into the Casino/Lismore area (and closer to the in-laws ) - but me being the IT Nerd and Anita a chartered accountant, we need a larger community/city for our (my) line of work. Mind you, i could give up IT support tomorrow for something more enjoyable. I'd consider moving as far north as Brisbane, it's 3 hours away from where we want to end up.

But can you please do something about starting Daylight Savings?!?!

Good Luck, first you have to get into QR (Which is hard atm), then apply for a driver job out West (Which won't be coming up for another couple of years with Pacific National Starting next year) stay out west for about 3-5yrs and then hope they advertise for transfers to Citytrain....

Another words -

Hey jaster! I don't suppose they have any part time (preferably 2 days) office admin type jobs going there???

My job interview went REALLY well until right at the end when they mentioned they expected it would go full time in future when I brightly responded  that I was hoping they would consider making it a jobshare position or if it were later on when Jaz is in school I would be happy to go full time...

Well, I have only been here for three months and still can't get the smile off my face. I work for Lakelands Golf Club as Sales Executive repsonsible for selling golf to tour operators and hotels.

After working in hotels on the Goldie for 11 years, I have a lot of good friends, sorry, clients, who I now get paid to visit.

It's a fantastic job which I truly love, Monday to Friday, public holidays off, unlimited golf, better pay then hotels etc etc.. it doesn't seem to end..

I suppose I did the hard work to get here so I shouldn't consider myself lucky but really, how can I not..
