Enjoy the 600m par 5. Last time playing it there into a breeze, I hit driver, then 5w (out of a divot) and then 3w to 10ft, lipping out for birdie.

The longest hole I've ever played on any course in NSW/WA for sure.

It's a great course, loved it.

Results updated in first post. According to the results, our club's handicapper won the day with 44 (playing off 11), and Dave came 2nd (should be good for a $20 voucher, I think). I was underwhelming.

Good to catch up again, Dave! Happy to check out your little postage stamp at Balgowlah when the opportunity arises.

BTW Nuffie, on the 6th (which was probably playing about 530m today) I had 130m for my 3rd shot after a near perfect driver, then 3 hybrid. Dismally pulled my 9 iron into a nearly unplayable lie and what could easily have been a birdie ended up a dismal 7/1.
