The use of blogs is increasing by Superintendents as a means of improving communication to members and guests. Sometimes what is passed onto the house staff by the course staff can be mixed up or confused when passing onto members, so coming directly from the Superintendent ensures the clear message is getting across. There have only been a couple in Australia so far, and I have started one now for Sea Temple:

Robin at Sanctuary Cove has one:

Ryan has one at Killara:

And Dr Turf has one at Coolangatta Tweed:

Any others please post their link.

Nice one Brett. Communication of what is happening and, more importantly, why between members and the maintenance team is a great idea.

I look forward to reading about your plans to get the green surrounds running a lot faster to match up with the links style architecture ;)

Looks good BrettM. We have a weekly email newsletter to the members and the super (Ben Geeson) puts a big piece in there with what's happening, what to expect and provides information about weeds, chemicals and so on. It's really good to have the info.

Newcastle has one also that is very ordinary i.e. You can't go back and see previous posts and it is also out of date most of the time.
