Shaft options for a 09 Burner TP 9.5* driver

I will be getting my son's hand me down, as I really like the shape of the head. When it had the original shaft in it, I hit it really high. That shaft was snapped and we stuck a HTD CB65 Stiff (Virge special) in it. I want to use it, but the current shaft is really stiff (it plays like an X)

Does anyone have an experiences with reshafting this driver? What seems to work well. I will need high-mid kick point and a soft stiff flex.
