Anyone been? Where did you stay? We are thinking of going in January for a week, looking for a toddler friendly resort with a nice beach.

Do a search for my family and friends link I posted in the 19th hole (??) a while back.

We have an Intercon there on the Vijay course if that's of interest...

The whole of Fiji is toddler friendly Gaz. I think we stayed at the Shangrila or whatever it's called a few years ago.

Watch out for nits though :)

My wife and I used to live there when we worked on Denarau. As noted the majority of the place is kid friendly as the local Fijians are fantastic with kids. The main resort area is in Nadi with Denarau Island now having 7 or 8 hotels on the island surrounding the golf course. Denarau is also the main departure point for cruises to the main islands off the west coast so is a good place to base yourself. Along the Coral Coast there are other resorts, but tend to be isolated from each other. There are some nice ones such as The Intercontinental which has the new course which we grew in and opened and is around 1 hours drive dodging horses on the road from Nadi. Nice hotel to stay in, but expensive. I think I've posted some pictures on the site here last year when I was over for a visit. Main thing to remember for Fiji, it does look like what you see in the brochures on the islands, but in town it is third world. The locals more than make up for it though.

Some more photos of the Natadola course. Let me know if you want any help with some of the places on Denarau.
