I got a bit spooked at Horton Park after Solarman hit his 2nd or maybe 3rd or 4th shot at the green from 2 fairways away and it end up landing on our tee. Then on the next tee one of there shots missed my head on the fly by a couple of feet. I'm glad they didn't have billybaubs accuracy.

Just found this. Maybe we could introduce into next years champs.

The NAGA Horn - The purpose of the NAGA horn is to ensure the safety of golfers playing adjacent fairways by warning them that the NAGA is about to “have a slash at it”. The horn is not intended as a total public humiliation of the NAGA (although that is a pretty good reason).

Let's set the scene: Haysey was collecting me from my place at 6am to go to Sea Temple for the NQ Matchplay Final. We were meant to pick Solarman up on the way through, but started receiving text messages just before 6am that he was tired, hungover & wouldn't be coming. The replies were something along the line of 'HTFU! We'll be there in 10 mins'. So we thought we'd test out his intestinal fortitude on arrival by giving him a welcome party (Stayin' Alive blaring full ball with the windows down - don't forget this was only just after 6am). Much mirth ensued.

Several weeks ago, Haysey & I planted a seed with Solarman that the fancy golf courses that we would be playing were quite traditional and much stricter than we are used to when it comes to dress regs. We told him that it was either long pants or long socks, hoping that he would take the bait. On arrival at The National GC, we were most amused to see him pull on some awful walk socks in the carpark. Much mirth ensued, before he stormed off to the pro shop. What made it even funnier is that the guy behind the counter told him he couldn't wear them on the course because they were not white.

Look for these socks to appear in the pro shop soon. ;)

Another well-executed gee-up.

Look for these socks to appear in the pro shop soon. ;)

Not true; they all think I'm weird coz I where pants up here all the time to keep the midgies at bay... Well actually, no, they just think I'm weird irrespective of pants...:-)

Click here (http://blogs.golf.com/top100/2010/11/golfcom-worst-golf-shot.html)

NAGA v the Commonwealth is eerily similar to the winner of the competition, even down to the pitch and tone of the chuckle after the first "shot":
