I've got one(SS-03) 14*with a Grafalloy ProLaunch 65 regular that plays just below a stiff flex. It's too much club for me at my age.The shaft (spined) and cord grip are new.

Had mine SS-03 up for sale a little while ago, but have now installed an Epic in it and am very happy with the results.

So I will persist.

I do concur with Ray though, if your not on your game these can be brutal to control, but when you are playing well you would be hard pressed to find a better (longer) 3 dog.

I had a 4wood of these - hated it, was poo. Gave it to a mate for wager settlement.
Everyone seems to rate them highly - i must have got a dud or something....

The driving cavity in the sole raises the vertical COG of the head which is not deep, boardering on shallow IMO. This gives any well struck shot a flat, boring trajectory that is a thing of beauty. There is a margin of error about the size of a 5 cent piece and a swing speed minimum of around the 100mph range to effectively use this club. People I know in the golf equipment industry refer to the Sonartec as a blade wood, because they are so unforgiving. Even Sonartec marketed these clubs as designed for the advanced golfer.

I'll send the details on Monday when I know if the Post Office will send it. Do you have a preference in carrier?

I boxed the 3-wood and took it to the Post Office for a quote. It is 20cms over their length limit so they won't accept it. Sorry mate, but I can't be bothered organising a carrier for a one-off like this.

Well, I've prayed through 20+ without issues. Add a $1 for insurance and they won't lose it.
