An inch of rain here overnight and is showering again now. Very windy as well, so when combined with soft conditions, off the blue, the course will be playing long tomorrow. Is set up well and the greens are rolling nicely. Will pop out during the morning to see how the match is progressing.

Much the same as yesterday, I couldn't find the extra gear I needed to be competitive. Well done Ned.

I'm still pretty happy with my year however. I got further than I ever expected and for the most part played better than I expected too. Have to see if I can continue to improve next year.

Great. A little damp in patches but nothing that affected play. Watch me get in trouble for driving down the middle of the wettest fairway right in front of the head greenkeeper:lol:

Thanks Haysey, given I'm still trying to kick this migraine thing, I enjoyed the company and the game today, thanks for traveling up.

FWIW, watch out for Haysey at the Champs, he may play down his chances and quote recent game horrors, but his last 3 or so holes were some pretty noice ball striking, even if he thinks he has the ugly duckling swing.

Had some real distance and was starting to hit through the shot.

One thing that is underated in Hayseys game is his putting, STCC's greens were pretty nice to putt on and if Club Pelicans are similar then he will contend for some points next week.

Me, well lets just say that after being pin high on the second hole no more then 15 metres from the pin, I walked off with a 7!!!!!!!!!

I think I ended up with an 84 or 85.

For the record, TM Penta Golf Balls are crapolla!!!!!!!!!
