We have had 150mm of rain overnight and all I have been getting all morning is panic phone calls.
My POOL IS OVERFLOWING what do I do.
Simple advice is
Let it overflow
If the pool was not there, then the rain would be falling on the lawn and draining off to the storm drain.

I think some people think that the water, all of a sudden is going to ALL COME OUT and flood the house :)

PS if you have a sand filter, then yes give it a backwash, but otherwise let nature take it's course.

I had one guy ring me to find out who's responsibility it was for the pool overflowing his or the landlord.
I said I don't understand what you mean
He replied to get the pool pumped out.
I told him that it was his responsibility then :)

I've had to let water out once during a heavy storm, but otherwise haven't had to touch my water levels since putting the pool in 12 months ago. I was expecting to be topping it up all the time, so have been pleasantly surprised. Just a few bags of salt and a bit of chemical etc. and it's all good.

Onewood, perhaps you should have told them something like "quick, dont let all that water go to waste, grab a bucket and start scooping it back into the pool"

Pool is looking fantastic at the moment ..... salt levels are fine, water is crystal clear ......

... now all we need is another 70mm overnight to stuff things up again !!!!!!!!
