Hi,
Being a club maker, I just love tinkering.
I recently brought in some Odyssey Backstryke putters to see what they were like, quite impressed.

Seeing I've used a belly putter for sometime now and just feel more comfortable using, I decide to convert a Marxman Backstryke 34" to 41.5" belly.
All I can say is wow, with the shaft fixed to the back centre of the putter, you get less rotation from backswing inside path, then forward swing inside path.

Having extended the 34" putter, I added about 40gm of lead (mag wheel weights) to the back of the face and underneath the alignment top, can't really be seen at address. A 21" Winn belly red/black grip makes it look a real treat.
Very easy to align, distance control is awesome, short putts a synch.

Your buddies may initially chuckle and laugh a little, but they quickly stop as they see the ball falling to the bottom of the hole.
