View Full Version : Best place to buy golf clothes???

jaybam

Want to purchase some new clothes. Where's a good place apart from the usual pro shops that doesn't charge a hundred bucks a shirt. Prefer brissy but happy to pay postage if anyone knows some good web sites.
Cheers in advance.

Lytton Rd, Bulimba mate. Just past Kings Storage heading east in the new commercial office site.

C&B is like "gorillas are us" though. A lot of their stuff is quite large for sizing. So an XL shirt is like and XXL etc. Must be to make the yanks think they are thin :-)

You could try Tiny Tots :-)

Very true P-Diddy.

Went down there today to do some Christmas shopping and found out they are doing a big sale tomorrow and Saturday. Same gear as usual - C&B, Ahead & Rhode Island. Some embroided, but not many. I spent about $200 on 8 C&B shirts, plus a couple of pairs of shorts.

Dennis will be happy to know that there was a C&B short-sleeved rain jacket with Southern GC 2009 Pennant Team embroided on it. And to think they don't wear high-vis gear at Southern anymore. ;)

Just bought some stuff from tgw.com - they do ladies clothes and the prices aren't too bad, although you do have to get them over here. Some good deals also at the usual suspects - rockbottomgolf etc.

You could probably buy Ian Poulter gear for your wife. Not a great deal of difference there. :)

ffs. Traditional?

I don't think the traditional golfers like Jones, Sarazen, Nelson or Hogan would wear anything like that.

Those trousers are retro and a throw back to the 60-70's. Sanders, Miller, Nicklaus, etc. wore them for similar reasons that Dave1 wears them today.

btw. Terrys had shorts in a very similar material at Mt Broughton and they looked ice cool.
