I'm looking to have a hit at Wally Park on Tuesday. I'd prefer to keep it local as I will need to dropoff/pickup the kids from school.

The comp cost will be $10 for a visitor (and probably the same for me). Single stableford is the format.

Is anyone interested?

Ah well, as much as I'd like to play comp, I can just play solo instead and refine the Neo GPS mapping.

I'll play if you're keen AP.

Let's do it. I'll probably be jumping off the train at Gailes at about 9am, so maybe a 9:30a tee time or something like that. I'll give the club a call tomorrow.

I am probably not going to get a round in tomorrow so will join you guys at Wolly Park on Tuesday.

I've booked it for 9:15a.

Your birthday kiss will have to wait until tomorrow, Iain.

Daves, PM your email address to me, and I'll send you the Neo file for the course. I emailed it to Iain and he said it worked. There's no guarantee on it's accuracy, but it can't hurt for you to have it.

Thanks,

got the file via Iain and it loaded, so that is a good start. See you there.

The course was in good condition considering the rain, just soft and pluggy in places. Daves used the perfect word to describe the course; quirky.

Peaked too early? It's all about the matchplay anyway. I was just flexing some muscle in front of my next opponent. Down to 12 after this round, then back out to 13 after my next.

Gross 72 for what it's worth.

And we now have a good Wally Park Neo course map!

Should also note that it is only $12 for visitors to play in Wally Park's open comps.

That sort of score gets a ball at Wally Park.
