View Full Version : iGolf Neo Course Files - What do You Want...5 days to go

Hux

Okay folks I have about 50 course file downloads to do before the 8 of September.....all downloads go into Henno's repository.

Post your requests in this thread. I did about 15 tonight and it booted me because of "suspicous activity due to the number of downloads". So i will need to space these out over the next 5 or 6 days.

CHECK HENNO's iGolf Repository to ensure the file is not already thee prior to the request. You might even check iGolf.com and check whether the course requested is actually mapped and if so the name used on iGolf.

PM Henno for login details for igolf.henno.org

Try looking...PW V2 is the correct one to use on the repository.

Maybe I should edit my original post.

Please check the repository for the file before placing a request.

Just toss up any request. I'm happy to check the repository for those too lazy. I'm looking at you, Dion.

Hyatt Coolum isn't there yet, though for a once off might not be worthwhile?

Greetings from Maplewood, MN! A quick question - I just picked up one of these Neo units from a friend of mine - pretty cool stuff! One problem is that he hasn't golfed in a while, so his 1 year sub has run out... and I wondered if there are any Minnesota or Wisconsin courses in the repository. My Neo has a few, and I'd be happy to put them in the repository. If you have any spare downloads, I'd like to request a few of my favorite courses - but the *main* one being Geneva Golf Club near Alexandria, MN. Let me know if this would be feasible, and how I could upload the few courses I have (mostly locals, with a couple of Vegas courses my friend golfed last year). Many thanks! -saltydog

Sure Iain if tomorrow means tomorrow after the 24hr hold on downloads is released.

Henno...you are a sux.

Daves - will dload if its on there but it is probably not up to date from the redesign.

Salty - if we have any unrequested space - however Ozgolf is Oz (ie Australia not Austin, TX) so our repository is all Australian files. Probably not a lot of us likely to be playing MN. I'll get you the one you want anyway.

We mostly have Australian courses saltydog, since that's where we all live.

It is a bit ironic that I have access to all this stuff now, just as I'm finishing work and the travel that goes along with it.

Here's some we might use:
Ipswich (http://www.igolf.com/course/18-Ipswich_Golf_Club/34409/) - if it is up to date
Karana Downs (http://www.igolf.com/course/Karana_Downs_Golf_Course/35349/)
Dalby (http://www.igolf.com/course/Dalby_Golf_Club/27352/)
Hyatt Coolum (http://www.igolf.com/course/Hyatt_Regency_Coolum/35346/)
Mt Coolum (http://www.igolf.com/course/Mount_Coolum_Golf_Club/27321/)
Noosa Springs (http://www.igolf.com/course/Noosa_Springs/27331/)
Tewantin Noosa (http://www.igolf.com/course/Tewantin_Noosa_Golf_Club/34669/)
Peregian Springs (http://www.igolf.com/course/Peregian_Springs_Golf_Club/35471/)
Maryborough (http://www.igolf.com/course/Maryborough_Golf_Club/27204/)

If there are courses left over to download, I'll suggest downloads of the following top courses in NSW that a visitor is likely to visit:
Newcastle (http://www.igolf.com/course/Newcastle_Golf_Club/34557/)
St Michael's (http://www.igolf.com/course/St_Michael_s_Golf_Club/34423/)
Bonnie Doon (http://www.igolf.com/course/Bonnie_Doon_Golf_Club/34374/)
The Vintage (http://www.igolf.com/course/The_Vintage_Golf_Club/34589/)

I can come up with more, if you really want, but that should use a few up.

Toowoomba City isn't in the database anyway. I'm sure Iain will plot the points while he is playing...

All done except Ipswich as it only seemed to be the 18-27 holes. Hyatt is the old one.

Any left? If so, then there's no point wasting them.

I don't have links this time, as I'm on the iPod but you could grab

Twin Waters
Sandy Gallop
Mount Warren

Hux

Stil have 10 credits to download before the 8th folks. Check the repository regardless of state and put up some suggestions.

Did some courses in teh Riverina and also the ones I know of on the Murray.

AndyP

I'll keep having a crack.

Potentially useful courses for qlders albeit on a rare basis.

Byron Bay
Murwillimbah
Pine Rivers

Launceston for the Barny trip?
Tenterfield

You could grab a few Melb ones too, if they aren't there (and I haven't checked sorry)

Dunes
Growling Frog

Any needed up Cairns way for any visits?

I haven't checked any of the above on igolf.

AndyP

Hi. Me again.

Cairns seems covered and I remember mike having issues with the files.

Robina Woods and Colonial are courses we've played a bit though.

Hux

All over. Missed this post...didn't come up in my notifications so missed COlonial and Robina...damn. Regulars are probably better mapped properly anyway.
Did a heap of NSW and VIC courses for the wanderers amongst us Qld crowd and to help those poor miserable southerners :-)

AndyP

As long as we don't help the WAnkers, it's all good.

Hux

Wish you hadn't of said that....I did some there and also a few for the land Ozgolf forgot...NT (all 2 golf courses in the NT!!) ohh and SA!!

AndyP
6th September 2010, 08:58 PM
If I had the Neo last year, I could have plotted all sorts of country NT courses.

There were a few WA courses on the Neo I purchased, that I could probably upload if they aren't already there.

Thanks for the message, Hux; I just got back from the resort we stay at (5 minutes away from Geneva GC) during the summer - which has all but vanished here in Minnesota in less than a week. :-(

Alas, I must be too new to this forum, as I do not have access to send PM's yet. If you can figure out another way to get in touch, that would be great.

(I can be reached at my nickname + mn at gmail dot com, too, if that helps. Many thanks from this side of the pond!)

Thank you, AndyP! (And Hux, too!)

I have the files I requested, and they loaded up with no problems on my Neo. You guys are awesome!

Hi
New to the forum, I have just recieved my Bushnell Neo
I'm a member at Nudgee so will be able to map both courses and add to the list if they aren't already done, also play at Tenterfield every Easter and Tocumawal / Yarrawonga in March.
Can anyone tell me how to send a pm (I can't find the option in my settings) so i can contact Henno to get access to the IGolf Repository.
Regards
Kym

Hi guys, possibly flogging a dead horse but where can one get other course files for the Neo? I am more than happy to trade the ones i have made, mainly on the North Shore of Sydney.

hi all can someone with an igolf membership please download my home course 'midlands' for me just checked and it is now on there? I haven't played their in 6 months because of family commitments and don't want to pay $30 for one course. Alternatively I will have to find time and get out there and map it myself:)
