Thanks for the hit guys, Tex managed to join our group for the game and certainly won't be off 25 for long. Daves was smashing his driver down the middle all day. And Henno played well, could've really shot a score if not for a few penalties.

Wynnum was in great shape, greens were rolling fast. Although I couldn't get the speed right all day. Blowing a gale as well.

first time around Wynnum since the Cup, it was a very enjoyable round and there was some quality ball striking from the group. Everyone was on target to burn it up on a tough set up and in the wind, only to be derailed on a coupe of holes.

The Wynnum greens are the best I have seen them and were receptive to shot making, very true and quite quick .

Back from a buck's weekend which started about 10 minutes after this game, so sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the game lads; a really good morning out despite the strong wind, helped by the nice condition of the Wynnum course.

Hitting the wrong ball, shanking one OOBs and two four putts and a couple of three putts really ruined what could have been a great score for me. Net 69 after throwing away so many shots on putting and penalties kinda hurts.
