Got my first ace on this track in a Gordonvale Open in the late 70's. The par-3 on the far side of the racetrack/showgrounds fence. This was before they added the extra holes. I remember thinking at the time -"how good is that" - because the flagsticks were ordinary PVC pipe which took up a fair piece of the hole.
