Now here is one for the BRAVE at heart

No BRAND name ... unknown parentage:oops:

But surely a bargain:twisted:

it is a telescope, like those ones with a ruler painted on the lens. It is not a laser range finder.
i have noticed many a dope paying a lot of money for these on Grays, they must be unloading heaps of them

They are on Ebay for a lot less;

and that is still over priced!

Got no pin seeker or roam. A general or hunting range finder is a poor option for only golf use.

it does the job for me . im not paying $400 plus for something that i dont use that often. besides you only really need it from inside 200m and i have no trouble picking up the pin from that distance. good enough for my needs. may not suit everyone.

You must have steady hand.

Or do you use a tripod?

As i said i dont use it all the time only when i really need to be sure . having said that i dont think its that great anyway as i play by feel and even if i or anyone here knew the distance to the metre how many could actually hit a ball that distance. even the pros know their yardage and still cant hit their mark. i use it for more of a gauge as to how far i hit it rather than how far i need to hit it in most cases.
you do need a steady hand but from 150m out its not that hard to stay still.

Seems I need to brush up on my sarcasm .....:smt108:smt108:smt108

The original post was never intended to be a serious item .....:roll::roll::roll:

Maybe next time .. ??? .. I will be more emphatic in my meanings .....:mrgreen::twisted::shock:

I was serious about the measuring wheel as a suitable cheep range finder.

That is fine but wouldn't the conversion from hand steered to golf buggy attachment along with the associated engineering costs be prohibitive

Then can anyone adapt it to a pedometer for those that CARRY their clubs

Seems like a task for the 'New Inventors'
