Thought about a 10.5 but I reckon 9* in the G10 head will be pretty much perfect

Ive tried a few 9* in a few diff stiff shafts, def go higher than stated loft!

yeah been told they play with a bit more loft than stamped on the sole, I originally wanted a 10.5 but reckon that will be too much

What is the difference between 9 deg and 8.1 ?

sell the shaft for a bucket load (they are sold new for over $300), and buy shaft of our choice with a lower bend point,, you will get the height you want and all your mates will think you are a hero for using a 7.5deg driver.

The only reason Chris sold his FT9 was to get a higher launching club Blakey so not sure if he would go to a 7.5deg driver.. Although with his swing speed, could probably handle an X flex ;)

its not 7.5, it is 8.1 though, and seems everyone in this thread is saying the G10 goes higher, which is why I mentioned it.

Thanks anyway Blakey but thats part of the reason I want a 9*, as I want something that plays to about 10-10.5. The shaft sounds good but I can't be bothered messing around, not enough spare time!

Looks like there might be a few more around than I thought so I'll have to see what deals come through

Used to own a 7.5* Cobra a few years back, plenty long but I had to flip it to get the launch angle up
