How many habits are out there and how hard are some to break
I've just given up smoking for the 3rd time in 2 years
But this time I went cold turkey
It's been 15 weeks today and I feel great (breathing wise)

Now trying to break the food habit. I was going through a packet of lollies a day
Week 1 of WeightWatchers

Good work on giving up the cigs. My Dad gave up his 60 a day habit cold turkey 9 months ago and is still going strong.

Updated weigh in
6 weeks in 112.3 -8.7 = 103.6
Mitch
81.4 -5.3 = 76.1

Last week Mitch and I walked for the first time in a Sat comp since Mitch had his 18 hole handicap
I was surprised how many members asked "how come you walked today"

Still no smokes and feeling great

Good work Kev! That's quite an achievement to give up the durries AND lose weight. Good luck with it.

Sounds like you need a fright to get motivated. How's this - smoking and overweight increases your chances of a premature death and somebody else gets your golf stuff.

Thank you
I think I'm still going because Mitch is going so well, he will not go over his points allowance for the day :) and is eating a lot more healthier foods

Top stuff!

Still walking the course? Next step would be to give the young bloke a stand bag for Christmas. I'm sure all the hotshot golf kids carry their bags, don't they?

I need to stop drinking flavoured milk. Too much sugar.

I gave up Coca Cola completely about six months ago but can't seem to stop drinking mocha's!

Any ideas.

Give yourself an electric shock every time you think of drinking one.

It could be coming to that. It could also be cause I work in the fridge and they sit in front of me. Taunting me.
