I saw a Brosnan stock sand wedge the other day in a bag of a 4 marker. Sitting in between the latest and greatest specialist wedges.

A 16 degree maxfli hybrid with some shitty ol' no-name steel shaft. This guy tried changing it to a new model burner and hated it. He was playing off 3-4 at the time.

A 3-4 marker at my club still games the following.

Titleist 975J - 7°
No fairway woods
Yonex 1-iron
3-SW Tommy Armour 845s
Bullseye putter

I think he shot 72 the last time I played with him.

A hand-painted (with what looks like Liquid Paper) Ram Zebra putter in the bag of a local low-marker (3 or less). He's had it for as long as I can remember.

I know the putter you mean - it looks like something that was rescued from a rubbish dump.

Nope, the dump is too nice a place for that putter.

I played with one of the Southern pennant players one day and he had a Ping 1 iron in the bag. The few times he hit it he pured it. Great to watch

my brother has a similar 16deg Maxfli hybrid (but with some crusty stock R flex graphite shaft when all the rest of his shafts are stiff and he plays my PX Flighted 6.5's beautifully too) and he's currently off 5.

Absolutely nothing if you have an ounce of ability.

I don't.
