Keen to play a round at Thaxted Park, been past it a number of times but never played it

Looking at a Sunday round possibly early if we can get it. Green fee is about $30

how early do you call early Chris? Id be keen for a 7.30ish start . Played there recently & its not a bad track - lots of trees & fast greens

All booked guys, 7.33 under Chris

Please check website for dress regs - http://www.thaxtedparkgolfclub.com.au/dressreq.htm pretty standard really for most semi-private clubs

I'll try and get there for 7ish, coming from Golden Grove it might take a hour or so

So thats 3 so far, I might be able to get a mate to play if we can't get a four

Yeah pretty good. Tough track, quite tight and the greens took a lot of getting used to.

In terms of speed they were quick, but not too crazy. The key was leaving your ball on the right side of the hole for you next putt if you didn't make it. I only putted off the green twice though!

Shot 92 which included a few triples and 2 birdies. It was a tough day to play, quite windy. Overall its a good track that I would like to play again, I reckon I could save around 8-10 shots by just knowing where to put the ball of the tee.
