Matt Jones only really came to be known to me and I'm guessing others through his association with Pure Grips, but the young lad is having a great year with several top 20's and hopefully, without a jinx, a Top 10 this week.

He seems to be playing some great golf. Here's hoping he can get a win sometime this year.

Ditto. He's not getting the press of other Aussies but I'm sure he's not losing any sleep over it.

Has his spot for next year & has accumulated almost US$1m now after his 13th last week. His consistency this year has been commendable... anyone know if he has a start in any Majors?

Sitting nicely T9 and 3 off the lead. How far away is he for a start in The PGA in a couple of weeks?

Totally agree, you hear very little about him but always see him well placed in many tournaments.

Hopefully he can notch up a win soon.

Seems like a nice guy, local boy from Kareela sydney south.
He is good friends with a mate of mine at my club.
Gave him a whole set of Titty z.b forged's and a d3 driver last xmas when he came home!!!!!

If he taught by Gary Barter down at the Aussie ?

I think I have heard that - plus his swing is very Barter like with the lower half rotating like a bastard.

It is great to see the Aussies getting back up there like a few years ago... It is nice to see that Aussie flag on the leaderboard a bit more often.

Think so Virge, from all reports very very down to earth guy, obviously, he's from "the shire".

Have to be down to earth if he ever actually played at Kareela!
