I was going to grab some grips and saw these new Golf Pride Wraps.

http://www.golfpride.com/Grips/Default.aspx?cat=noncord&grip=tourwrap

They are available in Black, Red and White (as in 3 seperate colour choices).

I'm tempted to try the red, just for something different, but might also think about white. I just wonder how practical white grips are ? What do you guys reckon ?

I would imagine that everytime a non white grip got shoved into the bag it would mark the white grip if it rubbed, or the inside of the bag would rub and make it look very average very quickly.

Would you play white grips ?

Would match your white belt.

As you suggested, I think you would have a problem with them rubbing against black grips.

black, yes. red, maybe. white, no. White is terrible for showing dirt.

I have noticed quite a few tour players using white grips recently. I assume it is a fashion thing? Interesting that they have revived the tour wrap grip, the Pure Grips are very similar.

Only downside I can see to white is them getting dirty.

+1 ... a mate has the 2 tone Black / White grips and they look pretty unsightly now (still play well of course)

Get them in the red. They look good.

the white looks sexy.

They would also end up being stained by your grubby, sweaty hands.

But they would look sexy for a while before that happened, and from what I can gather you won't have them that long and it will be somebody else's problem. :)

The Tour Wrap used to be a ridiculously slippery grip. You'd hope they've moved to more a Pure/Star style of rubber and moulding.

I have the Golf Pride Multi Compound (http://www.golfpride.com/Grips/Default.aspx?cat=hybrid&grip=newdecademchybrid#) grips in White/ black on my ZBs. They are surprisingly resilient to staining and don't take much to clean when they do start getting dirty.

I'd get the white ones, they do look rather sexy 8)

I'm sure any dirt/marks would wipe off easily enough.

One of my mates reckons white would stand out less than red.

I would never have a white grip on my clubs. Just like I wouldn't wear a white belt.

Very gay and unpracticle.

My fluorescent yellow putter grip started looking dirty/worn fairly quickly, mostly due to being oversize but i imagine white grips would be just as susceptible to wear marks

Was it to match the pills?

Go the white, 3. Will look great with a white or black glove.

that's the plan ;) as long as they are in stock now.

I'd say pink grips look gay, but anything else is probably homophobic

I'm surprised there hasn't been a move by the Breast Cancer Foundation to get players to use pink grips similar to cricketers.

Winn make a BCF ribbon putter grip.

I was watching a replay of the final round Queens' Cup played this week in Thailand and one of the leading players, Marksaeng, was dressed completely in pink and had pink grips.

And watching the NRL tonight, you might even get a few St George supporters in pink these days!;)

I've been hitting white grips for a while (Iomic & the new Lamkin Performance + 3GEN) and they can get a little dirty but nothing a wipe over doesn't fix.

My Iomics are 6 months old and still look fantastic.

Has anyone tried the new Lamkin 3 Gen NDURs???
3OD if you are looking at getting some of those Golf Pride 2 Gen, put me down for a set as I would be keen to try them out.

I have a red grip on my putter that i love.

White is a nice colour and looks really smart on clubs i feel, but indeed you will notice them getting dirty. Also if they lean up against other black grips they might mark the white grips.

Actually that tour wrap in white looks awesome... i reckon go for it!
