I have just bought a doz and will wait to see how real they are. They have a 7 day refund policy and I have also emailed them with the info on how I can tell if they are fake etc. http://www.golfballtest.org/?page_id=334

Will be interesting to see. Seems hard to believe they are $35 a box delivered.

The way i see it is delivery is free so it will only cost me $5 to send em back if they are fakes and I get to report him/her. IMO its worth a small gamble of $5 on the slight chance they are Real v1's that have fallen off the back of a truck.

So are you going to cut them open? How do you expect to know definitively that they are real or not?

If you do cut one in half, can you then still send them back?

I would have put my money on red at the roulette table if I wanted to gamble my money on the off chance of a cheap thrill.

Based on the product quality, I'd go for some of Blakey's mates thousands of balls before a doubtful eBay listing like that.

If anyone needs to cut them open to tell the difference they are paying WAY TOO MUCH for golf balls. Why would anyone pay $75 a doz if they can't tell the difference. I certainly can.

Its a $5 bet ppl. I spend $5 a Saturday on the pokies...same 5hit.

Also they have 2nd hand pro v1 balls for sale, why would some asian scammer be selling 2nd hand balls also?

Yes, only problem I see is 1) if they are fake, how do you prove it to paypal ?

2) if he does a runner, I wonder how long it takes to get refunded.

You have to have a credit card to have paypal (I think) so I assume hey can just charge it back to his card ?

Anyway, time will tell.

Hmm, PayPal aint what it used to be... It's come a long way and it isn't hard to claim back on an unsavory purchase. I run thousands through it a week and they are VERY good to me!

At worst, the balls won't show up and you'll be refunded your money within 31 days...

Middle of the road, the balls will be fake and you'll still stand a good chance of being refunded if enough people claim against that seller.... (this is my pick)

At best, you'll get some cheap legit 2008 balls and a sh*@ load of criticism on the forum....

After just buying 120 Pro V1's that smell like a dead donkey, trying to get a cheap buy, I can conclusively say that you are always better off buying BRAND NEW BALLS from a RECOGNISED DEALER! (Or MarkTHEBlake....) But, there isn't as much risk here as everyone is making out there is.....
